Record-Breaking Haaland Bags Hat-Trick In Man City Thrashing
Manchester City 5-1 Fulham
Manchester City maintained their winning start to the Premier League season after thrashing Fulham 5-1 at the Etihad.

The Citizens got the breakthrough in the 31st minute when Erling Haaland turned provider to set up Julian Alvarez, who turned home the low cross.

Fulham weren't behind for too long, with defender Tim Ream finding the equaliser two minutes after going behind.

City restored their lead on the stroke of halftime courtesy of a close-range finish from Nathan Ake, who got on the end of Phil Foden's corner. Haaland got his name on the score-sheet just before the hour mark with a composed finish, before the Norwegian completed his brace in the 69th minute from the penalty spot. The Norwegian had the final say as he completed his hat-trick in second-half stoppage with a powerful strike to wrap up a good win.

Haaland also set a new Premier League record by reaching 50 goal involvements (41 goals and 9 assist) in 39 matches, quicker than any other player in history of the league.

Chelsea 0-1 Nottingham Forest
Chelsea suffered their second defeat of the season after going down 1-0 to Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.

Former Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga scored the game's only goal for the visitors in the 48th minute with a wonderful strike.

Burnley 2-5 Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur continued their fine start to the season after thrashing Burnley 5-2 at Turf Moor.

Vincent Kompany's men opened the scoring after just four minutes when South Africa's Lyle Foster tucked home a low cross from Luca Koleosho.

The visitors managed to get back on level terms through club captain Son Heung-Min, who found the back of the net with a lovely lob.

The visitors then went ahead through Cristian Romero before James Maddison added the third goal in the 54th minute to open his account for the club.

Son went on to bag two more goals in the second half to complete his hat-trick, while Joshua Brownhill bagged a late consolation for Burnley.

Brentford 2-2 Bournemouth 
Brentford and Bournemouth settled for a share of the spoils after playing to a 2-2 draw at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Bees got the breakthrough after just seven minutes when Mathias Jensen's free-kick caught out Neto, with goalline technology confirming the ball had crossed the line.

Dominic Solanke pulled the Cherries level in the 30th minute, before David Brooks completed the turnaround for the visitors on 77 minutes.

However, the home side were able to rescue a point in second-half stoppage time thanks to Bryan Mbeumo's close-range finish.
