Re/Done launches its first-ever Eco Sneakers
Los Angeles-based luxury manner label Re/Done, which expanded its sneaker range come early july, has added its first-ever eco-friendly style by using a 100 percent recycled household leather and suede alternative.

The Eco Sneakers are in line with Re/Done’s exploration of getting back to existence ultimate classics but with a sustainable twist. The silhouette is certainly rooted in the 80s and 90s, however, the structure uses innovative new materials to attain the most sustainable results likely.

Re/Done has introduced a new recycled material created from discarded bottles to the sneaker market, a 100 percent recycled household leather and suede alternate with an atomic composition which allows it to perform just like the real thing.

Found in the sneaker’s outer body, internal lining, and insoles, this vegan “household leather” is breathable, mouldable, and completely washable with normal water.

Furthermore, the Eco Sneaker also feature organic and natural cotton laces, zinc-free eyelets, and soles made up of a recycled rubber compound created from production waste.

Jamie Mazur, co-founder of Re/Done, said found in a statement: “Due to a youngster I lived in Air Jordans on / off the basketball courtroom, and Stan Smiths when I took up tennis. We wished to recreate the nostalgia behind vital cult classics like these in a way that feels both high class and real to Re/Done’s commitment to responsibility. We sensed the ultimate way to pay homage to your favourite sneakers was to recreate them applying the most modern sustainability innovations.”

Re/Done’s 1st eco sneaker drop will set you back 420 US dollars and is open to shop at Matches and Net-A-Porter. Each piece is normally handmade in Italy and delivered in recycled and biodegradable product packaging.
