Juventus brushed aside Udinese 4-0 to reach the quarter-finals thanks to a brace by Paulo Dybala at Allianz Arena.

Gonzalo Higuain got the opener for the hosts in the 16th minute, while Dybala netted in either half for his double.

Douglas Costa added fourth goal just after the hour-mark to complete a comprehensive victory for the Old Lady.

Maurizio Sarri's charges will be back in league action on Sunday evening against Parma hoping to retain top spot while Udinese will be away to AC Milan on Sunday afternoon.

AC Milan cruised to the quarter-finals after thrashing SPAL 3-0 at the San Siro Stadium.

Krzysztof Piatek and Samu Castillejo gave the Rossoneri a two-goal cushion in the opening 45 minutes, while Theo Hernandez sealed a place in the quarter-finals with the third goal in the 66th minute.

Ten-man Fiorentina are through to the quarter-finals after upsetting Atalanta 2-1 at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Patrick Cutrone grabbed the lead for the hosts in the 11th minute but Josip IIicic levelled matters for Atalanta in the 67th minute.

Fiorentina were reduced to ten men three minutes later after German Pezzella got his second yellow card for simulation.

However, Pol Lirola snatched the winner for the hosts with six miinutes remaining to book a spot in the quarter-finals.
