Real Madrid booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey after thrashing second-tier side Real Zaragoza 4-0 on Wednesday evening.

Madrid came back from the break with an attacking intent, while the hosts, who struggled in the opening stanza, lacked the finishing touches to threaten Areola.
Los Blancos eventually killed the tie as a contest in the 72nd minute after Vinicius netted the third goal with a composed finish into the bottom corner after a playing a one-two with James Rodriguez.
Zaragoza came close to getting a consolation goal with 12 minutes remaining after Kagawa teed up Luis Suarez, who went clear on goal goal but the Colombian striker's goal-bound shot was kept out by Areola.
Second-half substitute Karim Benzema rounded off the scoring for Madrid a minute later with a close-range finish from Dani Carvajal's cross, as Los Blancos march on to the last eight.
