Samsung Maintains No. 6 Spot on Global Brands List

Samsung ranked sixth on the world's 100 top brands list with a value of about US$60 billion, according to brand consulting firm Interbrand.
The firm on Thursday released its list of the Best Global Brands for 2018.
Samsung's value grew 6 percent from last year to $59.9 billion to maintain its spot at No. 6. Hyundai placed 36th with $13.5 billion, remaining in the top 40 for the fourth consecutive year.
Apple topped the list with a value of $214.5 billion, followed by Google ($155.5 billion), Amazon ($100.8 billion), Microsoft ($92.7 billion) and Coca Cola ($66.3 billion).
