Sassi Holford launches ready-to-wear collection

Sassi Holford, known as among Britain’s most established wedding and eveningwear gown designers, has launched her 1st ready-to-wear collection.
Recognised on her behalf couture bridal models and red-carpet creations, Holford, possesses been named British Bridalwear Creator of the Year three times, and has decided after 40 years to expand in ready-to-wear pursuing requests from her wedding brides and their mothers wanting “beautifully cut, ageless pieces”.
Designed in Holford’s Somerset atelier and made in the UK, the ready-to-wear has been described as an “organic addition to her make”, and features transeasonal dresses, tailoring and separates, with every part in the collection made to create a workable wardrobe.
Featuring soft to statement silhouettes, the ready-to-don collection encompasses the foundations of Holford’s self-taught, award-winning pattern reducing, and includes dresses that will be belted and slip style, as well as pleated skirts designed in foil georgette and devoré silk.
Tailoring is also highlighted in the debut collection with structured matching tapered tuxedo trousers, a colour-matched skirt and palazzo trousers found in Italian crepe.
