Seoul Apartment Prices Soar Despite Bubble Warning

Apartment prices in Seoul edged up yet another 0.2 percent over the past week, the biggest margin since the third week of December 2019.
According to the Korea Appraisal Board on Thursday, in the entire greater Seoul area, apartment prices increased a record 0.37 percent over the week.
Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki recently warned people not to take out any more housing loans because prices are at a peak, but nobody seems to have believed him.
Prices of apartments outside the capital region also grew 0.2 percent, bringing the average nationwide increase to 0.28 percent.
