Shah Rukh Khan meets acid attack survivors in Kolkata, fans call him Dilwala

Shah Rukh Khan was recently in Kolkata to attend the IPL match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders, and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the Indian Premiere League match between his team Kolkata Knight Riders, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. After winning the match, Shah Rukh met some acid attack survivors in the city of joy before leaving for Mumbai. The actor was seen posing with the survivors and also having a deep discussion with them.
Shah Rukh runs Meer Foundation, named after his late father, which works closely for the betterment of acid attack survivors. He met the smiling faces through his foundation. The pictures were shared on the superstar’s largest fan club on Twitter and the caption read, “Jo dil jeette hain woh kabhi haarte nahi. The King Of Hearts with the ones who swim against the tide & emerged as winners in the game of life – the acid attack survivors.”
The actor, who is known for his kindness with fans, got appreciated by his fans for taking time out to meet the acid attack survivors. Several fans called him ‘Dilwala’ in comment section, while another fan wrote, “Good work sir.”
The actor, who continues to bask in the success of his latest release Pathaan, recently topped the 2023 TIME100 poll of most influential people from around the world. As per the publication, 1.2 million votes were cast, and 4% of them went to Shah Rukh. In second place are the Iranian women who are protesting for their rights. They garnered 3% of the votes. The women also won the magazine’s 2022 Person of the Year reader poll. In third place, with 2% of the votes, were the healthcare workers who’ve been at the frontlines of the pandemic since 2020.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh‘s Pathaan released in January this year. The movie has crossed Rs 1000 box office collection around the world, making it one of the highest profitable films in Bollywood. The actor has two upcoming releases now with Atlee’s Jawan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. SRK is also said to be a part of Tiger vs Pathaan, which will see him share screen space with Salman Khan.
