The Shanghai municipal government has released an industry map to help match foreign investors with the city’s key industries and guide the flow of social capital to key areas, Yicai.com reported.
According to the map, the key sectors include integrated digital industry, strategic emerging industries, modern services and agriculture.
The map identifies innovative resources and provides guidance for investors to find technology, supply chains and talent. It also clarifies the industrial layout in different districts, such as the “3+5+X” region.
The map was released during the Shanghai Foreign Investment Industry Promotion Conference on Wednesday.
A total of 10 project contracts worth 3.78 billion yuan (US$550 million) were signed at the conference, involving medical health, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent cars, R&D centres, regional headquarters and other fields.
