Sneak peek: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi to wide open new children's rides in March

Children in the administrative centre are set to truly have a thrilling start to the following month, with Ferrari World Abu Dhabi opening a number of new attractions designed especially for little ones.
The Family Zone, which will officially release on Sunday, March 1 at the Yas Island destination, features four new kid-friendly rides, all predicated on some of the theme park's most famous adult-sized experiences.
The zone comprises of the high-octane Formula Rossa rollercoaster - the adult version is the world's speediest 'coaster - the Turbo Tower rollercoaster, a Speedway Competition and the spinning Flying Wings ride.
"The inspiration behind Relatives Area was to create a location focused on entertaining our younger friends, allowing them to knowledge thrills similar to the adult encounter," Bianca Sammut, general supervisor of Ferrari Universe Abu Dhabi, tells The National.

To help expand bolster Ferrari World's child-friendly offering, the recreation area has also added a fresh kids' menu at its on-site Italian restaurant, Mamma Rossella.
The Family Area isn't the only new attraction coming to the motoring-inspired theme park this season, which will mark its 10th anniversary in November.
Ferrari World will start a Roof Walk experience, allowing guests to set foot on the venue's signature canopy, in addition to a 400-metre zip line.
Both experiences, for which launch dates are yet to be verified, will be sold separately from the park's basic admission pass.
"We put guest encounter in the centre of everything we carry out and make it important to consistently elevate the offerings we deliver for both people and tourists in the UAE," said Sammut.
Ferrari World, which includes a selection of rides and attractions encouraged by the carmaker, is already residence to the world’s speediest rollercoaster, Formula Rossa, in addition to live shows, driving simulators and Flying Aces, which has the world's tallest non-inverting loop.
