South Korea says it'll no more accept unreasonable behaviour by North Korea
South Korea's presidential Blue House said on Wednesday (Jun 17) that latest North Korean criticism of President Moon Jae-in was senseless and that it will no longer accept unreasonable behaviour by the North.

The Blue House comments came a working day after North Korea blew up an inter-Korean liaison office on its side of the border.

Blue House spokesman Yoon Do-han said criticism of Moon by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's sister, Kim Yo Jong, was rude and senseless and fundamentally damaged the trust built by both leaders.

Moon had wanted to send his national security adviser and spy chief to the North due to particular envoys on Monday, a good approach North Korean state news agency KCNA said was first rejected by Kim Jong Un's sister Kim Yo Jong while a good "tactless and sinister proposal".

"The solution for this crisis between the North and the South caused by the incompetence and irresponsibility of the South Korean authorities is impossible and it could be terminated only when proper selling price is paid," KCNA said.

Kim Yo Jong also harshly criticised Moon in another KCNA assertion, saying he had failed to implement the 2018 pacts and "put his neck in to the noose of pro-US flunkeyism".

Moon had wanted to take up the role of mediator between US President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un, leading to a number of meetings in 2018 and 2019 that failed to achieve a breakthrough on  denuclearisation.

In a speech marking the 20th anniversary of the first inter-Korean summit on Monday, Moon expressed regret that inter-Korean and North Korea-US relations have not really made improvement as hoped.

He also asked Pyongyang to maintain peace deals and go back to dialogue.
