Sporting Boss Believes Ronaldo Can Return To Ex-Club

Sporting Lisbon president Frederico Varandas believes Cristiano Ronaldo will return to the Primeira Liga golf club one day.
Ronaldo's mother recently made headlines when she said she would make an effort to persuade her boy to rejoin the newly crowned Portuguese champions.
Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo's agent, was speedy downplay speculation that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner would go back to his first professional golf club, though.
Despite Mendes' new remarks, Varandas is convinced Ronaldo will return to the club he supports.
"I think he will play here 1 day," the Sporting president told Sic Noticias.
"Cristiano was one of the primary to send me personally a note to congratulate us for the championship triumph.
"... Obviously his return right here depends on him: not only is it an excellent player, Cristiano is a good fan of Sporting."
