SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by seven runs in the 14th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Priyam Garg was the best run-scorer for SRH, scoring 51 runs off 26 deliveries in an innings comprising of six boundaries and a six.
Garg stitched a fine partnership with all-rounder Abhishek Sharma (31) to help SRH post a strong total, following cheap dismissals for the likes of Jonny Bairstow, David Warner and Kane Williamson.
Pacer Deepak Chahar was the pick of the bowlers for CSK accounting for just two wickets while conceding 31 runs.
In return, Ravindra Jadeja made his presence felt for the Chennai-based franchise scoring his maiden half-century in the IPL, following a poor performance by the top-order.
Skipper MS Dhoni attempted to continue attacking for CSK following Jadeja's dismissal, remaining unbeaten on 47 but he couldn't finish the overall game.
Rashid Khan was extremely impressive for SRH, conceding just 12 runs from his quota of four overs.
