Thailand releases detailed COVID-19 control methods for travellers

Thailand's public overall health ministry released detailed actions for travellers traveling to the country as it intensified initiatives to contain the COVID-19 outbreak, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) released on Saturday (Mar 14).
Travellers arriving in Thailand will come to be categorised into three organizations for different degrees of surveillance, TAT reported.
TRAVELLERS FROM THE CONDITION INFECTED ZONES

They are not permitted to leave their accommodation until the end of the infectious period or the explanation for suspicion, unless approved by an illness control officer.
"Throughout the amount of quarantine, travellers must record their own symptoms in the reporting system and monitor their symptoms strictly," TAT said.
"There will be a good surveillance officer to closely monitor travellers’ symptoms."
TRAVELLERS FROM COUNTRIES WITH ON-GOING LOCAL TRANSMISSION
Travellers in the next category are those who enter Thailand from overseas locations with on-going local transmission of COVID-19.
According to the hottest list updated simply by the condition Control Department in Mar 13, they contain France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, holland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the uk, america and certain locations in Japan, namely Hokkaido, Tokyo, Aichi, Wakayama, Kanagawa, Chiba, Okinawa, Kyoto and Osaka.

TRAVELLERS FROM OTHER DESTINATIONS
