The OnePlus 6 Will Launch In June 2018 & Sport New Snapdragon 845 Chip, According To CEO

After rumours that the new OnePlus 6 will launch soon, CEO Pete Lau has confirmed it’ll indeed reach the market in the second quarter of 2018.
The schedule fits as it’s around the same time last year the OnePlus 5 was launched.
Lau has also said the OnePlus 6 will feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, the latest SoC from the company announced back in December. However, it’s still unsure whether the company will imitate last year’s launch schedule and release a OnePlus 6T soon after, despite that being the case over the last two years.
Just what the price point will be on these devices is also still unclear, but all will be revealed very soon (we hope).
In addition, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will receive beta versions of the company’s Face Unlock technology. The company’s co-founder Carl Pei has in the past said it only makes sense to implement features in older phones when not too hard to do.
