Current Los Blancos captain Sergio Ramos is known for his tough-tackling approach to defending, which includes earned the Spain defender his fair share of dismissals throughout his career. Actually, the 34-year-old has been sent off 20 times since joining Real - he has at least doubly many red cards as any other player in the club's history. 

Ramos is followed by Los Blancos icon and former skipper Fernando Hierro, who was simply displayed his marching orders on 10 occasions during his 610-match affiliation with the club, while Hugo Sanchez and Castilla graduate Guti both found seven red cards throughout their respective stints in Madrid. 

Fifth put on the list is shared between three players, including two from Real's famous Galacticos era through the early 2000s: Brazil legend Roberto Carlos and former Spain international Michel Salgado, both of whom were delivered to the changing rooms on five occasions each.
