Transfer Update: Ronaldo
12 October, 2020
After committing himself to some other season at Juventus, there's reportedly been a fresh development in five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo's future.
For some time, it appeared the Portuguese forward would leave the Bianconeri ahead of the 2020/21 season, but he has recently become a fundamental element of Andrea Pirlo's plans this year.
That could all change, however, after Tuttosport reported that Ronaldo could be enthusiastic about taking his career to Paris Saint-Germain significantly less than a year from now.
The 35-year-old is definitely linked with a move to the French giants, while PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has previously admitted his admiration for the ex-Real Madrid attacker on a number of occasions.
Ronaldo was thought to be near leaving Juve at the start of this season as a result of club's financial situation following a coronavirus pandemic.
Having now played in England, Spain and Italy, predictions have already been made that he'll turn to take his career to just one more among Europe's top leagues, with only a handful of clubs in a position to afford him.
Les Parisiens are regarded as among the richest clubs in world football, and may struggle to retain Kylian Mbappe in 2021 amid the French international striker's links with Los Blancos, making a move for Ronaldo maybe even more likely.
