Twitter tags Trump’s retweet of clipped Biden video recording ‘manipulated’
A video published on Saturday by White colored House Social Mass media Director Dan Scavino, and retweeted by President Donald Trump has been tagged as ‘manipulated’ by Twitter, in the first instance because the micro-blogging platform introduced methods to curb fake news.

The video showed a clipped part of Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden’s recent speech in Kansas City Missouri, to create it seem to be like he said, “We can only re-elect Trump.”

In reality, Biden’s total sentence was, “We are able to only reelect Donald Trump if actually we get involved in this circular firing squad here. It’s gotta be a positive campaign, consequently join us.”

Twitter had introduced labels on March 5 for tweets with manipulated content material or manually edited along with deepfake videos made out of AI tools.

But the tag on Scavino’s video recording post was noticeable only on users’ timelines rather than when one clicked into the tweet or sought out it. Reuters reported a Twitter spokesperson explained the glitch had been fixed.

Scavino continued to insist that the video recording was not manipulated, and continued to grab millions of opinions on Twitter. And, unreferreed, the video tutorial was shared millions of moments on Facebook as well, which is definitely facing criticism for refusing to censor political advertisings that propagate utter lies.
