U19 World Cup Live Cricket Score, India vs Australia: India dominate Australia.
India posted 328 for 7 against Australia in their first game of the U19 World Cup in New Zealand. India openers Prithvi Shaw and Manjot Kalra laid the perfect platform for India and then Shubman Gill played a quick innings of 63 runs to help India cross the 300-run mark. India lost quick wickets towards the end of the innings but a few lusty blows from the lower order helped them to a big total. Both Kalra and Shaw missed out on individual centuries, falling marginally short of the three-figure mark. Shaw was batting on 94 when he edged it to the keeper while Kalra chipped one to midwicket and was dismissed for 86. This was after they had toyed with the Australian bowling in the morning. India won the toss and elected to bat on a good batting pitch. Shaw and Kalra began with a cautious start and took time to settle down. But once they got their eye in, both played good shots around the ground. Australia bowlers failed to trouble them, failing to stick a particular line. India’s left-right combination also troubled the Australian bowlers as they could not bowl to stop single.
