Vietnam approves AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, cuts brief Communist Party congress

Vietnam approved its primary vaccine for the brand new coronavirus and cut short an integral ruling Communist Get together meeting on Saturday (Jan 30) as it battled its biggest flare-up yet of COVID-19, state media reported.

The port town of Haiphong, in which a case from the new outbreak has been detected, also said it could separately look for to secure 2 million vaccine doses for the city's population.
