Peterborough

  • A rolled over truck on the Toll road westbound from Milk and Water Drove to Cardea Roundabout is causing chaos as jacket potatoes have spilled out into the road
Exeter

  • There are reports of a dozen cows on the road on Fore street near The Gateway Theatre Company. Traffic is coping well but police are on the scene.

York

  • Road closed due to serious crash on the A59 Boroughbridge Road both ways between Ouse Acres and Ouseburn Avenue. Emergency services are on the scene and the road is likely to remain closed until this afternoon.
  • The A687 both ways is shut between Chapel Lane and Greta Bridge due to a fire in a farm. It broke out at 11pm last night and firefighters have been battling the blaze since then.
  • Lady Pit Lane is closed both ways around Coupland Place due to an accident, and there is very slow traffic.

Manchester

  • A crash on the M62 Eastbound at Junction 23 A640 New Haye Road has closed one lane. Traffic is queuing and police are on the scene.
  • The Penistone Agricultural Show is today so there is slow traffic around Market Street.
Birmingham

  • In Worcester, one lane is closed due to an earlier car fire on the M5 Southbound between Junction 4A M42 and Junction 5 A38 (Droitwich / Wychbold.)
Cambridge

  • An overturned vehicle on the A14 Eastbound from Junction 16 to Junction 18 is causing chaos, and affecting travel from Thrapston to Huntingdon. A detour is in operation.

Nottingham

  • Road closed and slow traffic due to accident on B6166 Victoria Street both ways from B6326 London Road to Clinton Street. Also affecting Albert Street.
