When Dubai beach clubs Nikki Beach and Drift Beach will re-open for the new season

As the temperature soars in the UAE, many people head inside for much of the season, spending their time in the comforting coolness of air-conditioning.

Many of the country’s outdoor facilities also close down, including pool bars and beach clubs around the emirates.

But as we approach the end of August, some of the most popular beach clubs prepare to open their doors once more for the start of a new season.

So if you are just about ready to head back outside for your glamorous vitamin D fix, this is where you need to head later this month.

As one of Dubai’s original beach clubs, the city has felt much quieter since it shut down for the summer. But in just a few weeks’ time, the lively Pearl Jumeirah spot will re-open with a whole new calendar of events, starting on Friday August 30. Its ‘La Piscine’ re-launch event will be a tribute to Cote D’Azur style food and drinks.

This popular Dubai spot is set to kick-start the season when it re-opens its doors on Friday August 23. The beachfront bar, housed at the One&Only Royal Mirage, has become known as one of the city’s most Instagrammable spots, serving up Mediterranean-inspired food and hosting a series of special events. Entry will cost a reduced price of Dh200 until the end of September, while ladies can enjoy further discounted entry on Mondays and Tuesdays.
