Zlatan Names His Favourite Current Star, Snubs CR7 & Messi

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who idolised Ronaldo Nazario when he was growing up, has named the player he thinks currently "stands out above the rest", and it is not Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
The outspoken Swede is currently looking for a new club, with his Los Angeles Galaxy contract set to expire at the end of the month.
Ibrahimovic never hid his admiration for Ronaldo Nazario, who was his idol and whose playing style he tried to copy growing up, but he has now named Kylian Mbappe as his favourite current player.
"When he (Ronaldo Nazario) was playing, we all tried to copy him. He had such an elegant style of play," he said, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
"I used to watch his games but I don't so much any more. Right now, my favourite is perhaps Mbappe, who stands out above all the rest. He is the difference-maker.
"He is still young and we hope that he continues to work hard. Despite his age, he is already a star.
"I hope he keeps his hunger and that he doesn't fall out of love with football so that he can keep improving and achieving things.
"To do so, he has to keep a cool head, which isn't always easy."
Ibrahimovic has been closely linked with a return to Serie A, with AC Milan and Napoli touted as potential destinations.
