850,000 Koreans Earn Six-Figure Salaries

A lot more than 850,000 Koreans or perhaps 4.4 percent of salaried employees made six-figure gross annual salaries this past year, National Tax Service info unveiled earlier this month show (US$1=W1,094).
The number increased by 50,000 from 2018 to 852,000. In 2016, there have been only around 600,000 fat cats.
Some 98,000 built a lot more than W200 million in earned salary a year, 12,000 a lot more than W500 million and 2,854 more than W1 billion.
They account 0.01 percent of most salary earners.
The average twelve-monthly income of income earners before tax was W37.44 million, up 2.7 percent from 2018.
