Alaya F roped in for the remake of Kannada film, 'U Turn'

After showing off her acting prowess in her debut film, 'Jawaani Jaaneman', Alaya F is all set with her next. The young actress has been reportedly roped in for the Hindi remake of Shraddha Srinath's Kannada film, 'U Turn'. Ekta Kapoor, who will be backing the film, told a news portal that she feels Alaya was fantastic in her debut film. According to her, the young actress has a self-assured yet vulnerable quality in her that will help her connect with the audience.

Alaya also shared her excitement with the news portal and stated that she found it an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Ekta Kapoor for such an interesting project. The actress added that she feels responsible to be given the task to drive such an intriguing story. The remake will be directed by debutante director Arif Khan and the team will reportedly kick star shooting of the film from today.

'U-Turn' was a supernatural thriller that was produced, directed and written by Pawan Kumar. It traces the journey of a young reporter who begins investigating the mysterious deaths of motorists who happen to break traffic rules on a particular flyover. What happens when she begins her investigation is filled with twists and turns. The film has earlier been made in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali.
