All-new Nissan X-Terra gets Middle East launch: 'Sophistication and ruggedness can co-exist'

Fans of Nissan’s heftier creations (and everybody knows there are several of those) can now get their practical the brand’s latest version of the X-Terra.
The automobile, which promises to be an “ideal partner for customers seeking outdoor adventures”, premiered in the Middle East at a virtual event, and it follows the sooner unveiling of the manufacturer’s Ariya and Z Proto models.
The all-new X-Terra, which Nissan says may be the most capable all-round vehicle in its class, has been designed for sturdiness and poise, combining a robust four-wheel drive system with a roomy, comfortable cabin.
From a design perspective, the car’s front end resembles its sibling, the Patrol, with the latter’s V-motion grille. The body is definitely, predictably, muscular and bold.
Powering the X-Terra is normally a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, with a seven-speed automated transmission.
Thierry Sabbagh, managing director of Nissan Middle East, claimed the automobile demonstrated how “sophistication and ruggedness may co-exist”.
“We believe it will redefine what an SUV in this segment may do,” he added.
The X-Terra continues on sale this month and has a starting price of $27,200.
