Apple’s game-changing iPhone redesign takes shape
The iPhone 11 is coming quick and Apple is betting big on its success. This is reinforced by the fact that Apple has asked its supply chain to build a sizable inventory at the time of launch and it’s believed to be on par with the amount requested for the iPhone XS Max. While it is all but guaranteed that the iPhone 11 will sell in huge quantities, Apple fans the world over are setting their sights on what Apple will be launching next year. And if the insane new design isn’t enough to sway you, then the latest information will definitely will.

As per a fresh report by Bloomberg, Apple will add two-game-changing moves for its 2020 iPhones and this will feature cutting-edge technology that will be included in the iPhone 11.

Bloomberg reports that Apple will use a radical 3D camera in its iPhone 12 that can scan and model the environment around it to a distance of up to 15 feet; which is quite impressive. A related report by Forbes states, “ It will be laser-based unlike the 25-50 centimetre range of the dot projector-based 3D mapping system used in Face ID on the front of current iPhones.”

As of now, the potential for such a system that will revolutionize AR and VR experiences is already well-documented because Sony teased this tech in December 2018. At the time, they also teased its partnership with Apple. However, Apple reportedly pulled this feature from the iPhone 11 as it misses many features to make its addition worthwhile. Bloomberg goes on to state that “a third, more advanced camera, enhanced photo-capture tools and a more powerful chip” are all on the way. Also, the inclusion of the USB Type-C port is almost definite as Apple has been testing a version of it with the iPhone 11. However, Apple will not include this feature in its 2019 iPhones and save it for next year.

With 5G, a brand new design, and a revamped Touch ID, Apple will definitely have something great in its hands next year that makes the best iPhone 11 features look like incremental upgrades. So if you aren’t sold on the iPhone 11, you, like Apple can bet that the 2020 iPhone 12 will do well.
