Bangtan Boys Game Becomes Instant Hit Worldwide

A mobile game featuring K-pop boy band Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, has taken the world by storm, becoming an instant success upon its release.
The game's developer, Netmarble, said on Thursday that "BTS World" topped Apple's App Store chart for free games in 51 countries including Korea, Brazil, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Russia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and the U.S., just 20 hours after its release on Wednesday.
The game ranked No. 2 in France and the U.K. and No. 3 in Germany and Italy.
The simulation game allows players to become the manager of the band and nurture them into world superstars.
