Hoffenheim 0-6 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich moved five points clear at the highest of the Bundesliga with a 6-0 thrashing of Hoffenheim on Saturday evening.
The Bavarians got off to the right start as Serge Gnabry opened the scoring after two minutes before Joshua Kimmich doubled the lead five minutes later.
It was monster of first-half performance as 18-year-old Joshua Zirkzee bagged the third goal within the 15th minute before Philippe Coutinho added the fourth on 33 minutes.
Coutinho wasn't done there as completed his brace two minutes after the break while Leon Goretzka rounded off the rout just after the hour mark.
The game did endways a sour note after the last half was halted 3 times thanks to an offensive banner aimed toward Hoffenheim owner Dietmar Hopp by the Bayern supporters.
When the sport finally resumed, instead pushing for more goals the 2 sides just pass the ball among one another for the ultimate 10 minutes in protest.
Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Freiburg
Borussia Dortmund kept their title push alive with a slender 1-0 victory over Freiburg at Signal-Iduna-Park.
The home side surprisingly started with Erling Haaland on the bench, while they were still without Marco Reus.
Nevertheless, Dortmund broke the deadlock on quarter-hour because of Jadon Sancho's 14th league goal of the season.
Sancho's strike proved to be the difference on the afternoon as Dortmund move remain in third spot but are now level on points with second-place Leipzig.
