Bayern Remain Top, Dortmund's Title Hopes Dented
Bayern Munich 2-1 Freiburg

Bayern Munich cemented top spot in the Bundesliga for another week after defeating Freiburg 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Leon Goretzka opened the scoring on 30 minutes before Robert Lewandowski doubled the lead in the 75th minute.

Janik Haberer did pull a goal back in second-half stoppage time, but it was too late as Bayern held on for the points.

RB Leipzig 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund's title hopes took a knock after suffering a 2-1 loss to RB Leipzig on Saturday night.

Christopher Nkunku opened the scoring for the home side in the 29th minute but Marco Reus pulled Dortmund level in the 52nd minute.
 
Dortmund's joy was short-lived as Yussuf Poulsen got the second goal for Leipzig in the 68th minute, which proved to be the winning goal on the day.

The defeat leaves Dortmund four points behind Bayern, while Leipzig climb to fifth.

Wolfsburg 1-0 Augsburg

Wolfsburg made it back-to-back wins in the Bundesliga after defeating Augsburg 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Former Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha marked his first call-up to the national side by scoring the game's only goal on 14 minutes.

Stuttgart 0-1 Arminia Bielefeld

Masaya Okugawa's first-half strike was enough to hand Arminia Bielefeld over Stuttgart at the Mercedes Benz Arena.

The win ended Bielefeld's 10-game winless run in the Bundesliga and moved the side up to 17th, while Stuttgart remain in 14th spot.

Bochum 2-0 Hoffenheim

Bochum got back to winning ways in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 triumph over Hoffenhim on Saturday afternoon.

Second-half goals from Soma Novothny and Milos Pantovic secured the win for the hosts, who also missed a penalty through goalkeeper Manuel Riemann.
