Wolfsburg 1-3 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund remained one point behind leaders Bayern Munich in second place on the log after thrashing Wolfsburg 3-1 at Volkswagen Arena.

Wout Weghorst gave the Wolves a perfect start with the opener within two minutes but Emre Can levelled matters for Dortmund ten minutes before the half-time break.

Donyell Malen gave BVB the lead early in the second stanza and late substitute Erling Halaand wrapped up the game nine minutes before time.

FC Koln 4-1 Borussia Monchengladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach's four-game unbeaten run came to an end after a shock 4-1 hammering by Koln at RheinEnergieStadion.

After a goalless first stanza, Dejan Ljubicic eventually broke the deadlock for Koln early in the second stanza and Jonas Hofmann equalised for Gladbach 16 minutes before time.

However, two quick goals by Mark Uth and Ondrej Duda gave the hosts a 3-1 lead and Alassane Plea had a goal for Gladbach two minutes before time by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for offside and Sebastian Andersson made it 4-1 for Koln in stoppage time.

Greuther Furth 3-6 Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim moved up to fifth on the log after humiliating basement side Greuther Furth 6-3 thanks to a hat-trick by Ihlas Bebou at Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer.

Bebou scored once in the first stanza for Hoffenheim and completed his hat-trick with two goals in the second stanza, while Georginio Rutter netted a brace and an own goal by Marco Meyerhofer added to the visitors' rampant win.

Jamie Lewelinf, Timothy Tillman and Branimir Hrgota were on target for Greuther but their goals could not avoid their 12th defeat of the campaign.

VfL Bochum 2-1 Freiburg

Freiburg missed the chance to consolidate their third position on the log with a third consecutive loss after going down 2-1 to Bochum at Ruhrstadion.

After a goalless first stanza, Philipp Lienhart broke the deadlock for Freiburg six minutes inside the second stanza but Sebastian Polter quickly levelled matters for the hosts three minutes later.

Milos Pantovic snatched the winner for Bochum eight minutes before time.

Hertha Berlin 1-1 Augsburg

Hertha Berlin's winless run extended to four matches after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Augsburg at Olympiastadion.
