Beijing seals off portion of Shunyi district, 1st COVID-19 lockdown in Chinese capital since July

Beijing sealed off 10 regions of its northeastern Shunyi district in Tuesday (Dec 29), the first of all lockdown in the Chinese capital because the last coronavirus outbreak in the a few months of June and July.
The town has reported 16 infections and three asymptomatic cases since Dec 18, when the original cases were found. Almost all of the conditions were in Shunyi, which includes banned couriers from entering residential compounds.
Six villages, three properties and one industrial area were among the areas locked straight down, a Beijing municipal official told a good news conference.
