Belgium Move Top, England Drop To Third
England 0-1 Denmark
England relinquished top spot in Group 2 of League A carrying out a 1-0 loss to Denmark at Wembley Stadium.

The Three Lions were reduced to 10 men on 31 minutes when defender Harry Maguire found his second yellow card of the overall game.

The visitors took the lead four minutes later when former Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen converted from the penalty spot.

Fortunately for Danes, Eriksen's first-half spot-kick was enough to accomplish the damage which sees Gareth Southgate's side slip to third while Denmark moves up to the second spot.

Belgium 2-1 Iceland
Belgium moved top of Group 2 after defeating Iceland 2-1 on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils raced right into a ninth-minute lead through Romelu Lukaku, before Birkir Már Sævarsson restored parity for the visitors on 17 minutes.

Lukaku put the Belgians ahead prior to the break along with his second goal on the night time from the penalty spot in the 36th minute.

Italy 1-1 Netherlands
Italy was denied the opportunity to move top of Group 1 after playing to a 1-1 draw with holland.

After drawing a blank against Poland over the weekend, Lorenzo Pellegrini opened the scoring for the Azzurri in the 16th minute.

The Dutch were back on level terms just over ten minutes later because of Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Neither side could actually discover a winning goal, as the Italians sit in the second spot as the Dutch find themselves in the third spot.
