Breaking! Dutch Season Cancelled, Ajax Denied League Title

Official news coming out of the Netherlands concur that the Dutch Eredivisie has been cancelled, which is bad news for Ajax Amsterdam.
Football all over the world has been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak which includes been declared a worldwide pandemic.
However, the Dutch goverment banned any big events until September 2020, dashing any hopes of football returning any time in the future.
Consequently, the Eredivisie season has been called off with an instantaneous effect and you will have no promotion or relegation.
There will also be no league champion, with Ajax top of the table because of having a better goal-difference than second-place AZ Alkmaar.
For the European places, the Dutch league have proposed that Ajax and AZ will go in to the Champions League qualifiers, third-place Feyenoord will go directly into UEFA Europa League group stages while PSV Eindhoven and Willem II head to the next round qualifying stage for the Europa League.
