Britain's Captain Sir Tom Moore admitted to hospital with Covid-19
Capt Sir Tom Moore, the next World War veteran who inspired Britons found in the 1st wave of the Covid-19 crisis this past year while raising millions for charity, has been admitted to medical center with pneumonia after tests positive for the coronavirus.

Mr Moore, 100, have been treated in the home but was taken up to medical center on Sunday for help with his breathing.

He became symbolic of desire after raising £39 million ($53.4m) for England’s National Health Program by completing circuits of his nursing-home garden with his walking frame.

“Over the last couple of weeks he had been treated for pneumonia and last week tested great for Covid-19,” his daughter Hannah explained on his Twitter feed.

“The medical care he has received within the last couple of weeks has been exceptional and we realize that the beautiful staff at Bedford Medical center can do all they can to make him pleasant and hopefully return house immediately.

“We understand that everyone will be wishing him well. We happen to be, of course, focusing on my father and can update you whenever we are able to.”

Mr Moore was knighted by Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II for his fundraising efforts.

He also had a No1 music solitary, wrote a reserve and signed a deal to film a biopic of his lifestyle.
