China demands reset in Sino-US relations with Biden administration
Senior Chinese diplomat Wang Yi called on the administration of US President Joe Biden to work with Beijing to reopen dialogue between your several countries and restore a bilateral relationship broken under the presidency of Donald Trump. 

Wang, speaking at a good forum in Beijing on Mon (Feb 22), said the Trump administration's actions to suppress and contain China inflicted immeasurable injury, and named on Washington to eliminate tariffs on Chinese goods and abandon what he said was a great irrational suppression of the Chinese tech sector.

Wang, a Chinese status councillor and foreign minister, likewise urged Washington to value China's core interests, give up interfering found in Beijing's internal affairs and stop "conniving" with separatist forces for Taiwan's independence.

"Over the past few years, the US basically cut off bilateral dialogue in all levels," Wang said in prepared remarks translated into English.

Wang pointed to a recently available call between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Biden seeing that a positive step.

The comments come with the bilateral marriage at its lowest in decades. 

Washington and Beijing have clashed on multiple fronts including trade, accusations of individual rights crimes against the Uighur Muslim minorities found in Xinjiang place and Beijing's territorial promises in the resources-wealthy South China Sea.

The Biden administration has, however, signalled it'll maintain pressure on Beijing. 

Biden has voiced concern about Beijing's "coercive and unfair" trade practices and endorsed of a Trump administration determination that China has dedicated genocide against Muslim minorities on the much western region of Xinjiang.
