China to provide COVID-19 vaccine for foreign residents in Shanghai

Shanghai will offer you COVID-19 vaccinations for foreign occupants, local authorities announced later on Monday (Mar 22).
It marks the first time a city in China has made its vaccine obtainable widely to non-Chinese citizens.
According to a consumer notice, beginning Mar 29 foreigners "of appropriate age groups" may e book appointments online to receive a domestically designed shot.
The procedure will cost persons without insurance 100 yuan (US$15.35).
Beijing this week started selling vaccines to foreign journalists and diplomats. The pictures remain unavailable to many other non-Chinese people in the town, however.
China has issued a lot more than 74 million vaccine doses by Saturday, a wellbeing commission spokesman said in a recent news briefing.
China also reported 10 new COVID-19 conditions on Tuesday, up from 9 cases a evening earlier, the country's national wellbeing authority said on Wednesday.
The National Well being Commission, in a statement, said each of the new cases were imported infections originating from overseas. The number of new asymptomatic instances, which China will not classify as verified cases, fell to eight from 14 a day before.
