Chinese researchers quit US, agents target Biden workforce: US officials

A lot more than 1,000 Chinese researchers have left the United States amid a US crackdown on alleged technology theft, top US security officials reported on Wednesday (Dec 2), adding that Chinese agents had already been targeting the incoming Biden administration.
John Demers, chief of the US Justice Department's National Secureness Division, told a conversation hosted by the Aspen Institute think container the researchers had left the united states while the department launched multiple criminal situations against Chinese operatives for professional and technological espionage.
