E-Mart to Sell Renault Samsung's Ultra-Compact Electric Car

Renault Samsung's two-seater electric car Twizy will be available at E-Mart starting this month, the superstore chain said on Thursday. The Twizy will be sold along with electric bicycles, scooters and skateboards at E-Mart's 25 stores nationwide.
The eye-catching runabout, suitable for short trips, can be fully charged in three-and-a-half hours on a home power outlet and travel up to 80 km on a single charge with a maximum speed of 80 km/h.

It comes with a price tag between W14.30 million and W14.80 million, but the actual price would be cheaper, as subsidies from public agencies or regional governments are given to buyers of eco-friendly cars (US$1=W1,129).
Renault Samsung sold more than 1,500 Twizy cars last year.
