Elliot Page shows up out as transgender

The Oscar-nominated star of 'Juno' and 'The Umbrella Academy,' formerly known as Ellen Site, on Tuesday said he was a transgender person and had changed his first brand to Elliot. "I cannot begin to express how exceptional it feels to finally like who I am enough to pursue my genuine self," Webpage wrote on Instagram. "I love that I am  transgender. And I really like that I am queer." Webpage, 33, was nominated for an Academy Award for participating in a good pregnant teenager in 2007 film 'Juno' and starred in other movies incorporating 2010 sci-fi thriller 'Inception.

'The actor currently appears in Netflix superhero series 'Umbrella Academy.' Found in the Instagram post, Site said he would work with he/they pronouns. "The simple truth is, despite feeling profoundly cheerful right now and focusing on how much privilege I bring, I am likewise scared," Webpage explained. "I'm scared of the invasiveness, the hate, the 'jokes,' and of violence."
