Five-Star Man City Move Top of the EPL
West Bromwich Albion 0-5 Manchester City

Manchester City moved the surface of the Premier League table after hammering West Bromwich Albion 5-0 at the Hawthorns.

Man City produced two changes from the controversial make an impression on Aston Villa, as Riyad Mahrez took the area of the injured Kevin De Bruyne while Oleksandr Zinchenko started before Kyle Walker.

Raheem Sterling rounded off the scoring right before the hour-mark with a tap-in after a first-time cut-back by Mahrez and that was enough, as City went up to the most notable of the log by one level.

Southampton 1-3 Arsenal

Arsenal climbed to eighth in the Premier League table after coming from behind to thrash Southampton 3-1 at St. Mary's Stadium.

The Gunners were without their talisman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang due to personal reasons, as manager Mikel Arteta produced four changes, with Thomas Partey, Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette all being recalled.

Stuart Armstrong got the opener for Ralph Hasenhuttl's charges in the 3rd minute with a spectacular strike on a half-volley from the edge of the box before  Pepe quickly levelled matters for for Arsenal in the eighth minute.

Saka gave Arteta's men the lead with six minutes left of the first stanza after making no mistake from a one-on-one situation, where he rounded McCarthy after acquiring a through ball from Lacazette.

Lacazette made the three points safe for the Gunners within the last 18 minutes with a finish into the bottom corner at the trunk post after a outstanding delivery by Saka and Arteta's men went up to eight up for grabs while the Saints dropped down to 11th.
