Flydubai resumes flights to 24 metropolitan areas and aims to reach 66 destinations by end of summer
Flydubai has announced new flights to 24 locations, with the first place to depart Dubai on Tuesday, July 7.

Travellers can reserve flights from today to many countries across Europe, Asia and Africa, including Georgia, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Egypt and Ethiopia. The airline's primary commercial flight planned to depart Dubai when providers resume will fly to Kabul, Afghanistan.

Flydubai plans to improve the number of destinations that it flies to above the summer months.

“We are initially likely to operate to 24 locations and we'll continually add destinations and air travel frequencies to the network and we expect this to improve to 66 destinations over the course of the summertime," said Hamad Obaidalla, chief professional officer of flydubai.

"This, of lessons, will be dependent on countries having the capacity to start and accept international travel," he added.

All scheduled flydubai flights remain subject to government approval. Travellers booking on these flights can expect service to be a little diverse. Flydubai has introduced countless new measures in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

These include compulsory face masks for all passengers and earlier arrival at the departure airport terminal to allow period for thermal screening processes. Cabin crew will wear full personal protective gear, including gloves, long-sleeved aprons, visors and deal with masks on all flydubai flights.
