Erling Haaland continued his dream start at Borussia Dortmund who thumped FC Koln 5-1 in the Bundesliga on Friday night.
Dortmund manager Lucien Favre named an unchanged line-up from their thumping win over Augsburg, with Haaland kept on the bench once again despite netting a hat-trick last week.
BVB had a dream start as Raphael Guerreiro opened the scoring in the first minute with a composed finish from close range after a grass-cutting cross from Jadon Sancho.
The hosts were flying after that as they had a penalty overturned by the Video Assistant Referee in the 11th minute while three minutes later Mats Hummels rattled the crossbar with a header.
Dortmund eventually doubled their lead in the 29th minute after Marco Reus fired a strike past Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn from Hummels' through ball over the defence.
The home side were on the front foot again after the break and eventually bagged a third goal three minutes into the second stanza courtesy of Sancho, who found the top corner with a great strike from a corner-kick.
Koln pulled a goal back in the 64th minute after Mark Uth squeezed home a left-footed strike from a tight angle to the bottom corner from a corner-kick situation.
Second-half substitute Haaland restored Dortmund's three-goal cushion with 13 minutes with a strike from close range against the run of play.
Haaland rounded off the scoring for Dortmund in the final three minutes with a neat finish from close range to complete his brace as the hosts moved up to third spot.
