Haaland Returns To Send Dortmund Top
Borussia Dortmund 3-1 Mainz
 
Borussia Dortmund moved to the top of the Bundesliga standings after thrashing Mainz 3-1 at Signal Iduna Park.

Marco Reus grabbed an early goal for Dortmund before the returning Erling Haaland only doubled their lead nine minutes inside the second stanza.
 
Jonathan Burkardt pulled a goal back for Mainz three minutes before time but Haaland secured the three points for Marco Rose's charges with their third goal and his brace in stoppage time.

Freiburg 1-1 RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig's two-game winning run came to an end after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Freiburg at Europa-Park Stadion.

Emil Forsberg broke the deadlock for Leipzig just after the half-hour mark from the penalty spot but Jeong Woo-yeong got the equaliser for Freiburg just after the hour-mark.

Union Berlin 2-0 Wolfsburg

Union Berlin leapfrogged Wolfsburg up to fifth on the log after a surprise 2-0 win at Alte Forsterei.

After a goalless first stanza, Taiwo Awoniyi broke the deadlock for Union early in the second stanza and Sheraldo Becker secured the three points with the second goal in the last eight minutes.

Borussia Monchengladbach 1-1 Stuttgart

Borussia Monchengladbach missed the chance to move up to sixth on the log after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Stuttgart at Borussia-Park.

Konstantinos Mavropanos got the opener for Stuttgart in the first quarter of an hour but Jonas Hofmann levelled matters for Gladbach just before the half-time break.

Eintracht Frankfurt 1-2 Hertha Berlin

Hertha Berlin bagged their third win of the season after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 at Deutsche Bank Park.

Marco Richter got an early opener for Hertha and Jurgen Ekkelenkamp doubled their lead just after the hour-mark.

Goncalo Paciencia pulled a goal back for Eintracht in the last 12 minutes but Hertha held on to maximum points.

Greuther Furth 0-1 VfB Bochum

Bochum moved out of the relegation zone after a late 1-0 win over winless Greuther Furth at Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer.

The first stanza could not produce goals but Anthony Losilla eventually broke the deadlock for Bochum in the last ten minutes and that proved to be the winner.
