Hyundai SUVs Earn Top Safety Ratings in U.S.
Hyundai's three major sport utility vehicles earned top safety ratings from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The automaker said Wednesday that its Kona, Santa Fe and Tucson SUVs scored the NHTSA's highest "5-Star Safety Ratings" overall. One star is the lowest and more stars mean safer cars.

Meanwhile, Kia's Forte (known as the K3 in Korea) and Cadenza (the K7 in Korea) sedans won awards given to the most satisfying vehicles based on a survey of over 50,000 new car owners by market researcher AutoPacific.

Its Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are "the industry benchmark for objectively measuring how satisfied an owner is with their new vehicles."
