Hyundai Takes over GM Factory in Russia

Hyundai has acquired a GM factory in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The automaker acquired the factory as its sales have already been increasing there, nonetheless it said Tuesday it has yet to choose when to get started on operating it as a result of coronavirus pandemic.
GM opened the factory in 2008, but had to close it found in 2015 within a downsizing of its overseas organization.
Hyundai is likely to expand its market share in Russia with the newly acquired factory. It has also been operating its factory with potential to create 200,000 vehicles a time in metropolis since 2011.
