Hyundai's Santa Fe SUV Reaches 100,000 Milestone in Annual Sales

Hyundai's midsize SUV Santa Fe sold over 100,000 vehicles for the first time in Korea last year since its launch 19 years ago.
The feat was attributed to an increase in sales to women in their 30s amid the rising popularity of SUVs.
Hyundai said Wednesday, "We sold 107,202 Santa Fe SUVs in the domestic market last year, up 7.5 percent from the previous year."
It joins a select group of cars to achieve the milestone, including Hyundai's Avante, Sonata and Grandeur sedans and Porter pickup truck.
To celebrate, Hyundai will offer free test-drives of 40 Santa Fe vehicles to 200 customers at five events across the country. Applications can be made online at https://www.hyundai.com.
