In-Form Benzema Sends Real Second In LaLiga

Real Madrid moved level on points with LaLiga leaders Atletico Madrid with a 3-1 victory over Eibar at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurúa on Sunday evening.
The visitors got off to an ideal start as the returning Rodrygo did well to choose Benzema, slotted past Eibar goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic after just six minutes.
The next goal arrived on 13 minutes. Benzema turned provider to play in Luka Modric who made no mistake by rifling the ball in to the roof of the net.
The lively commence to the half continued after Eibar were able to reduce the deficit in the 28th minute as Kike found the trunk of the web with a stunning strike from 25 yards.

Despite Eibar's late push for an equaliser, the defending league champions were able to bag a third goal through Lucas Vazquez in second-half stoppage time to send Los Blancos second on the log.
