iPhone 12 Hits Korea
Apple's first 5G smartphones, the iPhone 12 and its variants, will hit stores in Korea on Friday.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be sold first, while the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be accessible a little later.

The series comes in four versions -- the iPhone 12 Mini (5.4-inch screen), the iPhone 12 (6.1 inches), the iPhone 12 Pro (6.1 inches), and the iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7 inches). They are a little slimmer with edged bezels than the iPhone 11.

A trial use by the Chosun Ilbo found the iPhone 12 Pro eye-catching and fast, but the large notch design and irritating lens flare problem when taking photographs during the night were negatives.

Apple has stopped providing chargers and earphones with the iPhone 12 citing environmental concerns.

Three cameras are on the upper left corner of the trunk and the connectivity is fast enough to take care of high-capacity games without a hitch.

Although battery life has decreased when compared to the iPhone 11, the shortfall had not been noticeable when web surfing or watching YouTube. To save lots of battery, Apple equipped the phones with a "smart data" mode which allows it to shift automatically from LTE to 5G and vice versa depending on this content being viewed.

The iPhone 12 Pro's camera functions are exceptional. It includes a Lidar sensor enabling photos to be studied even in dim light, but there was a lens flare problem when taking photos at night. Another negative may be the absence of an impression ID function that disables screen-locking through fingerprint recognition for the reason that face-ID-recognition cannot identify a user wearing a nose and mouth mask.
