Homegrown messaging iphone app Hike on Wednesday declared the roll away of ‘HikeLand’ which allows users to hang out with their friends watching videos alongside one another in a digital environment.
The first preview of HikeLand, which is being rolled out from Wednesday, includes two shared experience - ‘Home’ and ‘Big Screen’.
Home is an exclusive space where users can go out with their closest friends and will be offering a voice-led knowledge where users can chat watching videos together virtually. Keeping customer privacy in the centre of the experience, no person can enter a Home in HikeLand without the user’s invitation, the business said in a statement.
Similar to a good brick-and-mortar theatre, Hike’s Big Screen allows users to view videos with other folks. To start with, Big Screen is currently driven by YouTube and will be running reveals 24x7 around comedy, sports activities, and others.
